Jason Bennett

Jason Bennett is an actor, singer, master acting teacher and founder of Jason Bennett Actors Studio. He has taught hundreds of students in New York City and from around the world. Twenty-nine teachers and more than twenty-five years of study inform a demanding, playful approach to the actor’s body, voice, imagination and craft.

His training includes extensive direct study with Eric Morris and voice work in the Roy Hart lineage. The work draws across acting traditions, with tools chosen for the actor, the role and the day.

Backstage readers named him runner-up for Best Acting Coach in New York City in 2010 and 2011, and Scene Study Teacher in 2011. His students and clients include Broadway performers, film and television actors, politicians, international news anchors and corporate executives.

“He is a powerful and passionate teacher!” says a Tony Award-winning director. “Working with Jason Bennett is intense and exciting,” says a Tony Award winner.
